Episode #12: Samurai Salamanders

And now, a behind-the-scenes look at just how "The Wowie Zowie Show" comes about; how the magic happens!

...Alright, so we start out with my monologue as usual, Mike interupts and says "GMD, great job as usual, but could you finish the monologue, please? You're a really great host". Then I say-

I thought we agreed I wouldn't say that.

But you always say that!

I've never said you were a really great host.

Alright, fine. So then Pueto plays me to the desk, during which he plays Bon Jovi's "You Give Love a Bad Name", because Bon Jovi wrote that song for me-

Bon Jovi never wrote that song for you.

Yes he did!

Really? Why?

'Cause, we go way back.

What does that song have to do at all with you?

It didn't matter, man... it was about the music. The MUSIC.

Uh huh.

*takes a puff from his cigarette*

Alright, so Pueto just plays "You Give Love a Bad Name" because I like the song. Then I introduce the guest, Link, who emideately chops off Dao's head with his sword-

We went through this already, remember? He chops off your head and then gives me Zelda for one night of endless passion.

Why?

Because it's funnier that way.

Oh, right. So I get my head chopped off while Dao begins "courting" Princess Zelda, and- wait a second! NO! That's not right at all!

Nope.

*takes another puff*

Okay, let's try this again. Link begins complimenting me like CRAZY, I mean the guy just won't shut up about it. So then I say "We should save the world sometime". And then we DO! He takes me on this whacked-out adventure, and I end up meeting a beautiful, sensitive Blond girl named Christine, who I just kiss at the end of the game because anything else would be pornagraphic, and just plain wrong for a hero like me to do.

This is the show we're talking about, right?

Huh? Show? Oh yeah, that. Well anyway, after it was all said and done me and Christine come back to the show and get THOUSANDS of screaming fans. And we don't even know how they got there, since the studio is practically empty usually! They came all the way there just to meet us, the heroes. We kiss again, more cheering, as that familar tune from the original plays as the credits roll, until a starry "The End" is shown with us on a hill, staring at each other.

Way over our budget.

Dang, that's what I thought. Alright then, same old make it up as we go routine?

Sounds good, just one last change...

What?

I still get Princess Zelda.

I also think it would be funnier if you came in dressed as a Professional Football Player.

*sighs* Alright, let's start from the beginning again...

Hi everybody, welcome to the show, tonight's guest is Link, let's get this over with. Hi Link, how are you?

I'm-

Good, good. Well, that's it.
